B.  Doors and Windows with Standard Framing and Compensating Channel or Sub-Frame.  (Block only):

      1.    Frame sizes given as a CALL-OUT (6040):

a. The Net Frame Dimension (NFD) will be the result of the CALL-OUT dimension minus the product line standard deductions.  (See standard deductions below).

b.  The associated Compensating Channel will be furnished, loose, at NFD plus 4" for field trimming.

        2.     Frame sizes given in Feet and Inches or Inches:

a.  The Net Frame Dimensions will be the sizes ordered.  No deductions are made.

b.  The associated Compensating Channel will be furnished, loose, at NFD plus 4" for field trimming.

Note:  The Authorized Dealer is responsible for ordering the Door or Window in the correct size to accommodate the Compensating Channel or Sub-Frame.  Fleetwood Aluminum Products, Inc. will not calculate the Authorized Dealers rough opening from a NFD.  Compensating Channel and Sub-Frame details are available for each Door and Window system to allow the Authorized Dealer to make the necessary calculations.
