| General: FLEETWOOD warrants that its windows and doors will be free of all defects in material and workmanship that significantly impair their operation and proper usage as long as the owner can provide proof that the Care & Maintenance Instructions were followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to select an installer that is licensed with the state or is certified under AAMA Installation Masters. It is the responsibility of the end user to confirm that the Authorized Dealer has disclosed if the FLEETWOOD merchandise being provided was: Factory Glazed: Otherwise neither the glass, nor vinyl, nor panel/glass fit is guaranteed (Florida "Glazing Program" is guaranteed); Factory Finished: Otherwise nothing is guaranteed; Complete Factory Fabrication: Otherwise nothing is guaranteed. |

Finishes: All
aluminum products painted with "EDGE-ARMOR" will come with a LIMITED
TEN (10) YEAR WARRANTY. All other custom painted finishes carry a LIMITED FIVE (5) YEAR WARRANTY (Unless within 5
miles of salt water, then warranty is one year). All other vinyl, anodized,
and painted finishes carry a LIMITED ONE (1) YEAR
WARRANTY. FLEETWOOD warrants
that within the warranty period the finish will not peel, crack, bubble, chip or
discolor. |
| Monolithic
Glass/Mirror: Monolithic
glass and mirror will be free of significant obstruction. Glass has natural
imperfections that must be accepted. Normal room lighting at a distance of
11' is the basic criteria that will determine if an imperfection impairs the
view. For glass failure
FLEETWOOD will correct or provide replacement materials free of charge for the
first ten (10) years. Commencing with the eleventh (11th) year a charge equal to 50% of the
prevailing list price will be charged to the Dealer. |
| Insulated Glass
(IG): Insulated
glass will be free of significant obstruction (chips, scratches, fingerprints,
debris, moisture, distortion or discoloration within industry standards). Glass
has natural imperfections that must be accepted. Normal room lighting at a
distance of 11' is the basic criteria that will determine if an imperfection
impairs the view. Clearly visible interior damage (e.g. scratches) must be
reported in the first year. For IG failure FLEETWOOD will correct or provide replacement materials free of
charge for the first ten (10) years. Commencing with the eleventh (11th) year a charge equal
to 50% of the prevailing list price will be charged to the Dealer. |
| Hardware
and Components:
FLEETWOOD warrants that all product hardware will be free from defects in
material and workmanship and will correct or provide replacement free of charge. |
| Automation System: Fleetwood automation system has a five (5) year warranty for all parts. There is a two (2) year warranty for all labor related to replacement of warranty parts. Warranty period begins once the system has been installed and final adjustments have been made. |
| Exclusions*: Installation issues. Labor and any expenses related to replace or repair product. Glass cracks, runs, spontaneous breakage or any damage, screen mesh, 1corrosion, uniform finish fading, sash balances (replaced more than once), rattling of grids between glass panes, normal tempering distortion of glass, products for which FLEETWOOD has not been paid in full, film applied glass, products installed in high moisture areas, failures caused by structural settlement, vibration, localized heat exceeding 150 degrees or acts of nature, damage due to abuse, harmful fumes, vapors or chemicals or normal wear and tear. The foregoing warranty and remedies are exclusive and are made expressly in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, whether in fact or by operation of law statutory of otherwise. Fleetwood neither assumes nor authorizes any other person or entity to assume for it any other liability in connection with the sale, installation or use of the product and Fleetwood. The foregoing warranty does not cover damage to the product resulting from accident, misuse, abuse or non-Fleetwood modifications of the product. In no event will Fleetwood be liable to the purchaser for any damages including but not limited to, any direct, special incidental or consequential damages arising out of or relating to the sale, installation or use of or inability to use the product or any claim by any other party. |
| *Maintenance Required: The above warranty is void unless the products are properly installed and maintained according to our published "Cleaning and Maintenance" instructions. |
| Making Claims: Providing the factory invoice number is required for this warranty to be valid. This warranty is applicable to the original single-family residence customer of the Authorized Dealer through whom the products were purchased. This warranty is not transferable. Fleetwood will determine the remedy process, e.g. replaced or repaired, F.O.B. the factory; Freight Collect. Replacement materials do not extend the time period of the original warranty. When your Authorized Dealer is no longer an active dealer or refuses to be the liaison, you must hire an Authorized Dealer, through whom all warranty claims and subsequent action will be processed. The warranty obligations are deemed to be performed in the County of Riverside, State of California. The exclusive forum for any dispute between the purchaser and Fleetwood will be the Superior Court (Riverside County).
