General: Some of the standard hardware is
constructed of coated steel and will perform well in corrosive
environments with regular Care & Maintenance. Failure to
provide special care will result in premature degradation. Even stainless
steel components require regular care and maintenance to ensure a long
life.

Rotogear Operator & Jamb Lock Levers: The standard "brushed silver" rotogear operator is
constructed of plated zinc and will therefore need regular care. Optional
colors (black, white & grey) are painted zinc and will perform better in corrosive applications.
The "brushed silver" jamb latches are optional. They are made of
brushed copper nickel. The optional colors are painted.

The standard rotogear mechanism and arms are made of coated steel and will
therefore need regular care. Stainless steel is optional. This hardware offers minimal vent opening. If more is desired, select the 4-Bar Hinge/Cam Handle option or select the Everest 850-A. |

4-Bar Hinges:
The standard 4-bar hinges are made of stainless steel and are concealed
when the vent is closed. The "brushed silver" cam handle is made
of brushed copper nickel and will perform better, with regular care, than
the standard plated or zinc hardware.

Optional Cam Handle:
The optional "brushed silver" cam handle is made
of brushed copper nickel and will perform better, with regular care, than
the standard plated or zinc hardware.

Hopper Handle/Latch & 4-Bar Hinges:
The standard "brushed silver" ring pull handle is made of brushed copper
nickel. The standard 4-bar hinges are made of stainless steel and are
concealed when the vent is closed.

Optional Hopper Operator: The optional
"brushed silver" spring loaded latch, or custodial latches are
constructed of brushed copper nickel and will therefore need regular care.
